Supply Chain Excellence Awards 2025 Recognize Industry Leaders

The 29th Supply Chain Excellence Awards unfolded in London, acknowledging outstanding achievements in the supply chain industry. With over 220 entries, the event celebrated 26 category winners who demonstrated measurable improvements in their supply chain operations.

Industry Leaders Honored

The awards ceremony featured a judging panel of 30 industry experts who evaluated the entries to determine the winners. Notable companies that received accolades include ASDA, Leica Biosystems, and Wienerberger. The awards recognized various areas of excellence, including continuous improvement and strategic partnerships.

Steeper Group was awarded the Continuous Improvement Award, while TFG London & Noatum Logistics received the Partnership Award. The Strategy Award was granted to Sainsbury’s in collaboration with Argos, DHL, and GXO.

Other notable winners included Royal Mail & Wiliot, who took home the Visibility Award, and Hachette UK Distribution, which was recognized with the People Operations Award. Arla Foods & XPO Logistics were awarded the Customer Service Award, and Toolstation & GXO received the Robotics Award.

Emphasis on Digital and Sustainable Solutions

The Digital Transformation Award was given to CRYOPDP, while Moonpig, in partnership with a consulting group, won the Digital Transformation Systems Award. The awards also highlighted the importance of sustainability in supply chains, with Too Good to Go and CEVA Logistics receiving the Sustainable Supply Chain Award.

The Responsible Supply Chain Conference is slated for November 17, 2025, further emphasizing the ongoing commitment to responsible supply chain practices.

Recognition of Female Leadership

The 2025 Women in Supply Chain Awards celebrated the contributions of women in the field. Summer Weinberg of STG Logistics was honored with the Workforce Innovator Award, having over 15 years of experience leading system enhancements and compliance. Megan Williams, who joined STG in 2021 and oversees 11 intermodal and drayage terminals, received the Trailblazers Award.

The awards aim to recognize and encourage female leaders in supply chain management. The Women in Supply Chain Forum will take place from November 18-20, 2025, in Clearwater Beach, Florida, providing a platform for further discussions on women’s roles in the industry.

KLN's Continued Success in Asia

KLN secured the Asian 3PL of the Year title for the tenth consecutive time at the Supply Chain Asia Awards 2025 in Singapore. This prestigious Corporate Award acknowledged KLN's significant contributions to the logistics sector across 58 countries and territories.

In addition to the 3PL title, KLN was also recognized as the Supply Chain Innovator of the Year, with a particular emphasis on their sustainability efforts and decarbonization initiatives. Wong Siew Loong, Chief Operating Officer, has been instrumental in steering the company towards a low-carbon supply chain, aligning with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals.

The annual awards, organized by Supply Chain Asia, continue to highlight significant achievements and innovations within the industry, reinforcing the critical role of sustainability and innovation in the global supply chain landscape.
