Bridge Logistics Expands Operations with Major Warehouse Acquisition in Fontana

Bridge Logistics has made a significant move in the logistics industry with the acquisition of a new warehouse facility in Fontana, California. The facility, located at 10681 Production Avenue, spans an impressive 1,101,900 square feet and is set to bolster the company's operational capabilities in one of the nation's key logistics markets.

State-of-the-Art Facility Features

The newly acquired facility is a Class A industrial distribution center, offering a range of features to support efficient logistics operations. It includes 220 dock-high doors and 185-foot truck courts designed to facilitate the smooth movement of goods. Additionally, the facility boasts 274 trailer stalls, providing ample space for trailer storage and maneuvering.

Strategically positioned with immediate access to the I-10 freeway, the Fontana location provides seamless connectivity to major transportation routes. This accessibility is further enhanced by proximity to the Ports of Los Angeles, making it an ideal hub for distribution and logistics activities.

Strategic Presence in the Inland Empire

Fontana is situated within the Inland Empire, a critical logistics market in Southern California. The region boasts a substantial inventory of 651 million square feet dedicated to logistics and warehousing. Despite its size, the Inland Empire currently experiences a vacancy rate of just 6.8%, highlighting the high demand for logistics space in the area.

Bridge Logistics’ acquisition comes at a time when 10.7 million square feet of new warehouse space is under construction in the Inland Empire, further underscoring the region's importance and growth potential in the logistics sector.

Expanding Portfolio and Enhanced Capabilities

With this acquisition, Bridge Logistics significantly expands its total portfolio size, which now encompasses 332,800 square feet across multiple assets. The company's portfolio includes notable properties such as 14074 Rancho Court, 14019 Rose Ave, and 14928 Washington Drive, with the latest addition in Fontana marking a substantial enhancement.

Bridge Logistics' portfolio stretches beyond California, comprising 24 assets across multiple states. The company manages a 450,000-square-foot industrial portfolio strategically located near major interstates and highways, offering critical access to transportation networks.

Focus on High-Performing Logistics Assets

The acquisition of the Fontana facility aligns with Bridge Logistics' strategy to target high-performing logistics assets. The facility's location and features make it a valuable addition to the company's portfolio, enhancing its ability to meet the demands of a high-demand infill market.

In the neighboring City of Industry, the vacancy rate stands at just 2.4%, with less than 1% of inventory currently under construction. This reflects the competitive nature of the logistics space market in Southern California and the strategic importance of securing prime assets such as the Fontana facility.

"The acquisition of our Fontana facility is a strategic investment aimed at enhancing our operational capabilities in a key logistics market. With its state-of-the-art features and strategic location, we are well-positioned to meet the growing demands of our clients," a spokesperson for Bridge Logistics noted.

As Bridge Logistics continues to expand its footprint, the acquisition of the Fontana warehouse represents a pivotal step in its growth strategy, enabling the company to further solidify its presence in the competitive logistics landscape.
